Why is DG so bad here?
by: PnmIs DG bad here? And if it is, why? It’s good everywhere else. Is it a less desirable chapter?

I was a gchi during rush/ yes DG is a desirable chapter. There were girls in my group and my friends groups that wanted DG. Don’t let a few haters that are threatened by a new chapter that works hard for every bit of recognition they get. This is a new chapter/ they are great girls/ no drama or scandal/ great sisterhood/beautiful house and from what I can see and hear great alum support.

DG is probably one of the very best sisterhoods on campus. They are a newer sorority so not as established, which means they don’t get as many cuts and take more OOS girls.
It’s ridiculous how people actually thin “top” means anything. Those people are discounting hundreds of incredible, “top house” type girls just because they’re OOS and don’t already know people here
#9 by: This is so dumb…
Every national sorority has outstanding and awful chapters. Kappa, Chi O, etc are considered “bottom” on many campuses. Ultimately recruitment is done locally within individual Greek systems. There is literally no connection between a chapter’s standing on one campus and any other.
That said, DG is doing great here and headed in the right direction. Every house at U of A has something to offer - women are very privileged to be Greek here!
