Recruitment 2023 rankings from a Gchi

XO, KKG, Pi Phi: despite many scandals they got who they wanted for the most part
ZTA: “top house” for girls who don’t have the connections for the other ones
DDD: pnms think they’re a top house because of how big their house is, on campus for a long time so they have more legacies and alum support
KD, ADPi: ADPi did much better this year than last year, KD did slightly better during open round but ADPi did better during conversation rounds, pnms who had both on pref went both ways
AXO, DG, Phi Mu: completely split based on the PNM, retention was about the same, DG was a bit lower because girls don’t want to be in a house that is unfortunately made fun of
AOII: better than last year but most of my girls tried to cut AOII most rounds

As a gamma chi as well I will say phi mu was atleast equal to kd and adpi. Zeta had girls pref them over the other three houses. All out of state girls I will say that. DG had a great recruitment. Several girls in my group chose them over mid houses going into sisterhood. Second year gamma chi so that was the biggest surprise for me. Kappa lost a few girls going into pref round with girls taking other houses instead ( like ddd and zeta) Who knows if these girls were going to be cut anyway though….

I was a gamma chi as well. My group was interesting. From what I heard from my group and my friends groups. The surprise houses were AXO and DG. If you think I had several that ranked the more established houses lower than the newer houses. If you think someone did not want a house because they didn't want a house that everyone "makes fun of" Then the greek system has some work to do. If we want all houses to thrive - we have to support everyone. Congratulations to all New Members!! Welcome to the sisterhood!!

I agree that it’s stupid that they didn’t want to be in a house because they would be made fun of. but I had girls tell me blatantly that it was the reason they wanted to cut DG.
