Don’t trust all advice
by: LisaI just saw a tic tok where a girl actually said drop if you have a bad rush and just go have coffee with a girl in the house you want and get a bid in the spring. What?! First of all not sure what house she was in but clearly it was not a top house. Zeta may take two or three friends in the spring( and I don’t even think they did any last year) but other than that you will only be able to do that in mid to lower ranked houses so why drop? Photo shop your pic? Again bad advice. You need to look like yourself and your personality and resume will matter way more than a photo shopped pick. Again if you’re trying for a top house someone probably already knows you and knows what you look like! So much BAD advice in one tik tok…….

Omg I saw that and actually laughed out loud at how bad the advice was. I am a junior in a top house and for sure she was not giving advice from a top house perspective. Looks won’t get you a bid. What’s on your resume is more important than your pic! When we meet a new girl we don’t want to be disappointed they don’t look like their picture. Girls that drop are girls that think they “deserve” a top house. Good luck getting one of those houses in the spring. You won’t because they don’t spring rush!

She went to uark. Gave out rush advice having admittedly not having a great rush and dropping her house after a year…. Just bad advice all around and girls are eating up. Sad

I agree but only if you had very few choices during the week. If girls try and do spring rush in hopes of getting a top house forget about it

She was an alpha chi but 90% sure she dropped. I don’t completely disagree with dropping rush and doing COB. The rest of that.. yikes
