What houses require you to live in house?

Title.So hi guys,i am rushing this fall but looking at the financial sheet i don't think living in house is something financially smart for me in this stage of life.I still have enough money for all dues(and want to experience greek life) but just want to know this about the houses as a heads up!!:)

just so you know, living in-house is actually cheaper than an apartment. i know, it sounds crazy, but my sorority gave us a whole presentation about it lol.

Forcing girls to live in house doesn’t really happen. Every chapter will make girls sign some type of contract obligating them to live in house if there’s open spots, but that’s just a formality. Even if a chapter can’t fill spots, they most likely just charge extra fees.
In fact, getting to live in house is competitive for most sororities. Living in house is cheaper that apartments like the reply above said. It is also super convenient to be on campus with food provided.
If you still don’t want to live in house, sign a lease as soon as it opens so you get the lowest rent possible.

It’s competitive to live in house and it is cheaper than most places close to campus, especially if you factor in the meals. If you choose not to try and live in house just be aware a lot of apartments and houses rent really early for the next year. Like really early. October/November is typical!

In house is usually cheaper than an apartment. I don’t know if any sorority that MAKES actives live in house. It’s actually very competitive to get in
