Ugh this is nerve wracking

Coming in from OOS and really want to find a sister group in rush . I’ve turned in the application and have several recommendation letters but not two for every chapter.
With the huge number of girls rushing - what are the actual chances?
I have a strong GPA and resume but feel like I’m at a huge disadvantage .
Are there many PNM that don’t get a bid at all? I can’t even imagine how horrible that would be ! I’m not looking for rankings or the best - just want to find a great group of girls ♥️

Idk why everyone is so worried about being from out of state?? There are a lot of people from oos in every sorority. I mean majority of the people who go to arkansas aren’t from arkansas.. you shouldn’t worry about that seriously. You will find where you should be

If you're from Texas you'll be okay since half the rushes are anyway. Even if you're from elsewhere if you keep an open mind, then unless something goes very wrong, you will get a bid. Even if it's not to the house you originally hoped for.

Yes, just keep an open mind. As long as you go into each house with an open mind and are friendly and respectful, you will get a bid. It may not be the house you had hoped for, that’s why am open mind is important. Very few girls are completely dropped from rush.

You’ll be just fine!! Girls that don’t get a bid are girls that drop out themselves, have done something publicly awful (like n work on the news), or are extremely mean to their houses on pref. So as long as none of those are you.. don’t worry!
