Rush 2023- opinion
by: why does this even matter
To be honest from the bottom of my heart for all the PNM's coming in this year, look at every house carefully, because there's always a chance a house that you have had your heart set on pre-rush, may or may not take you back. that why the open-minded mindset is essential coming into recruitment. Don't disregard a house because as a freshman you see it as a bottom house, because once the ball gets rolling, and you become a junior/senior, your not going to care about that title, but rather care about the quality of the girls. Base the idea on how they treat you, how they interact with you rather than a status. Because once the party phase ends, you'll want more out of friendships than a surface-level connection. Each house on this campus is a good house, what I'm getting at is don't disregard the houses you see as bottom houses, just because of a social construct.

Can we stop with the top and bottom tiers?? We all love our houses and we all want a quality sisterhood. We all have beautiful houses, great philanthropy, great sistershoods -- why put anyone down because it has been on campus for less than 50 years? Where is the "pan love"?? We are stronger when we support each other.

Also the so called “prestige”, which I don’t think is really a thing seen by everyone at UArk, but even if it DID exist, you’re only here for four years and that “prestige” means nothing once you get out of Fayetteville. Top houses here are bottom houses at other schools.
