HONEST SUMMER RANKINGS AND DESCRIPTIONS 2023

as a junior at arkansas this is how i see the rankings. this is based off of what i’ve seen the last two years and the general opinions on campus:

TOP:
Chio/Kappa

these are constantly the top houses year after year. strong legacy and arkansas houses. you will need close connections in these houses, girls that you know are for sure pulling for you. they most likely already have their bid lists, or who they want at least.

PiPhi/Zeta

these two are slightly less exclusive than XO and KKG. connections are still pretty necessary but you could have a shot even if you don’t know anyone personally. for piphi, have a killer resume and a high GPA. and for zeta it’s possible to really impress a girl on the first round and get asked back. these are both difficult but not impossible.

UPPER MID:
Tridelt/KD

this is where rush starts for most OOS girls with little to no connections. both houses have a campy church girl vibe, and will rush a lot of camp girls they know (especially DDD). but both houses have a diverse mix of girls. these houses normally take the top of the out of state girls with less connections but still a good resume/GPA. overall DDD is a little more preppy/girly and KD is more outgoing/granola. both houses have very similar girls, but i’d say DDD has a slight edge on KD.

MID:
AXO/ADPI/Phi Mu

these are all great houses for OOS girls with no connections. personally i think alpha chi has passed ADPI on campus. these are all good houses but it depends on your vibe. AXO is a little more trendy and has some great girls, i think after this year they have passed ADPI and PM. Phi Mu gets a lot of hate on here but aren’t as bad as they’re made out to be. they have a preppy party vibe similar to zeta, just less exclusive.

BOTTOM:
DG/AOII

i think DG has passed AOII the last couple years. they have a good sisterhood and have gotten some great girls recently. you don’t need connections for either of these houses. both good options for OOS girls!
