is getting chi o impossible w/o rec letters…

Im going to be rushing in the fall and some of my friends from highschool are chi o’s here, but they are my only connections. Is that enough for me to be invited back or do I absolutely need rec letters to get a bid

Those connections are good andmatter a lot, but dot the i's and cross the t's with recs to show your level of interest.

The only house where I would say a Rec letter is crucial is chi o. It is not difficult to get someone to write you a Rec letter. Why are you avoiding it? Yes yes and yes for this particular house having alumni support in my opinion is actually more important than in house connections.

It depends on what year your friends are and how active they are. If you are from Ark you prob already know people who can write recs It’ll look better if you send in recs

It’s not impossible if you already have lots of girls pulling for you but you’d kinda already know if you were likely to get a bid

You would prob be in the know if they were going to give you a bid by now…trust me when I say they consistently dirty rush!!! Greek Life will lie to your face and tell you they don’t, but they do.

Save yourself the time and energy. If you were going to be a CHi O, you'd already know. You would have been to football games with members and been invited to the spring event.

Were you invited to stay the weekend with members in Fayetteville this year? If your answer is no, you are not on the bid list. They know who they want. I would not waste my time.
