Bottom tiered houses are the houses filled with great OOS girls or girls not running in the camp/high school cliques . Bottom tier doesn't mean it's a quality of girl issue. What's considered bottom at UA would be a top ar other colleges. OOS girls and girls not from certain zip codes thrive at these houses as these houses are not dominated by tight high school friend groups, which can be challenging for an outsider.
You’re in college. If you want to continue hanging with your high school friends go for it. If you want to branch out go for it and if you don’t have high school friends here you’re prob secure and confident enough to go somewhere where you don’t know anyone in the first place which is awesome! You don’t want to be around a bunch of girls that already are in cliques anyway!

Rank just means how connected you have to be to get in. You can be wonderful and straight As and funny and beautiful and top houses won’t even look at you. Unless it’s Kappa - they’ll look if you have money!
(And yes I know there are some girls that get in without connections but it’s VERY few. And the ones that do usually end up not liking it as much because they don’t know anyone)
