kappa trying to make a comeback

this is coming from someone who is in a much lower ranked house.being surrounded by girls from all houses this year i can 100 percent say kappa girls are by far the worst.they think they are better than everyone else and have zero reason to think that except they knew someone in the house that got them a bid. most girls i know were cut from all the other top houses! MOST were. i get it it’s harder to get into a house when your told to cut 2/3rds of the girls first night but i also know that myself and others i know did get invited back and chose to cut them. thank god i did because when it comes to sisterhood they are the worst.they will just as quickly talk about a sister as they will a girl from a different house. if we had rush second semester kappa would be way down there with phi mu. just because they come on here and say there is an order 1-11 ( which there is not it is actually tiers) doesn’t make it so especially after the past couple of recruitments.

Would be nice if they showed kappa how many girls ranked them low. The gamma chi’s of kappa know this even if they aren’t reporting it back to their chapter.

They talk bad about their own sisters. I just think it makes girls insecure so they talk about other houses to make themselves feel better.

the thing where girls who end up in kappa (or other top houses) are cut by the other top houses is a gr rumor. i personally know at least 15 girls my year who had kappa and another top at pref. they did not all pref kappa but some did. but all had two top houses at pref. so not only does it happen it happens pretty often actually

A girl in my GX group this year had kappa and pi phi on pref, preffed kappa, got pi phi. It happens.

^^^ i will say based on the girls i know from my hometown that went through recruitment in this past fall pi phi had a rougher than usual recruitment. blah and boring were descriptions used by most. i also think they may not have paired people very well because of all their troubles work week and at the beginning of recruitment within house. being paired with the wrong person can completely make you lose interest in a house quick!

Wish people would understand every house in each tiers lose girls to each other… not just them.

I guess they can technically say they get who they want when the list has 500 tops on it. If 50% of the pnms cut them from their tops list but they get whatever is leftover from the list they can say they got who they wanted…right?

That is how recruitment works. You think going into recruitment Kappa only had 200 girls on their list that they wanted and all 200 picked them back? They make a list of well over the amount they can offer bids to knowing full well some girls will cut them. So technically they can say they got who they wanted if they get girls that were on the original list of 400-500. They try to say they have a 99% retention rate and it’s just not true. This isn’t just true for Kappa. All houses make a list of who they want. The list is always longer than the amount they can offer bids to. Those are the facts.

I was rushed by a girl from my high school. I cut them and now she won’t talk to me. I think in her opinion I picked a house lower ranked than hers. The truth is I had heard plenty of negative things about kappa and every single thing I heard now that I have been on campus is true. They are super insecure and judgmental.
