friendship advice
by: pc22I rushed this fall and to this day have not established any friends from my house. I don’t attend functions, chapter, etc… It’s so cliquey and I just don’t know. I heard people make friends sophomore year or during recruitment week and idk if i should stay or drop :(

Hi. You have to put yourself out there. I had to put in a lot of work to find a friend group. I sent out many text that went unanswered which is hurtful but I knew if I ever wanted to make friends they were not going to come to me. I would stay through recruitment because a lot of friendships form during work week. I am assuming you won’t be living in house so you will need to reach out next year to be included in things. I hope your find your friends and just know there are other girls feeling just like you.

Yes some are definitely harder.. like kappa chi o pi phi. But none are easy! You don’t just walk in and meet your best friends! You have to put yourself out there just like you would in highschool/middle school/work etc!
