Kappa mom exposed daughter

Well if she has an in house sister then yes she will be a kappa. Unless she chooses to do her own thing. There was a kappa a couple of years ago that almost went to another top house. I know her and she said her mom and sister would have lost their minds if she did not pledge kappa. But I can see why the mom felt confident!

It doesn't mean she was bid promised, it means she or mom wants her to have the bid. If she has an in house sister she's going to get that bid if she wants it. There are pnm's who sometimes put it out there recklessly that they are looking forward to being in XYZ as marketing on SM but that's not dirty rushing on the sorority's part. We will see more of this kind of bs for a lot of houses if bama tiktok starts having influence here. Stupid pnms

I agree it seems normal. Mom and sister are kappas, mom is excited for her daughter to be a Kappa and everyone assumes she’ll be one. Kappa has nothing to do with that. They can’t control what people write in comments.
But it is also dumb of the mom unless she purposefully wants to ruin her daughters chances of getting any other bid. Any smart house is going to drop her right away.

Dirty rushing can't be done by a pnm. Putting on your social media that you want to be an XYZ is not dirty rushing. It's a very bad strategy that will do you no good, but it's not dirty rushing and a pnm cannot commit dirty rushing anyway. The sororities have all the power and only sororities could commit it. BUT despite the fact that dirty rushing can only happen on the part of a sorority rushing a pnm, it still doesn't happen nearly as much, or in the ways that a lot of discontented misinformed people like to say it does. Calm down. You have no idea what the real story is. Let Kappa and panhellenic sort it out if necessary.

No, it doesn't "show" that. People can post whatever they want and she's a legacy and may have existing friends in the sorority. That doesn't add up to dirty rushing. Going to look bad for her and mom if she gets cut and that's why PNM's shouldn't do this. Legacy helps but there are tons of them and it is no guarantee.

Yes!Zeta cut an in house sister two years ago. I know because she is in my house. Plus why wouldn’t the mom want her daughter to have options during recruitment? It almost makes it seem like the mom or sister is scared she may like another house and is trying to take away choices for her? Sad if you ask me.
