Seems that another theta chapter located TX is behaving poorly- why not bring Theta back to uark?

I agree! The amount of pnm’s first year would help support the mortgage on their McMansion. With the influx of out of state girls Theta seems like a great choice! Name recognition goes far! Pi phi, Kappa are typically great at other schools which brings in girls from out of state. Zeta at
uark was boosted by Alabamas rush this past year …...again name recognition! I think most girls have heard of Theta so makes sense. When did they leave uark?

for lack of a better example it’s like Chi O/Kappa/Pi Phi here but in Texas it’s Pi Phi/Theta/Kappa if that makes sense.

Theta chapters have been closing at an alarming rate. Ole Miss and Clemson for low membership a few years ago, and SMU just got kicked for bad hazing. Theta's national leadership is questionable at this point for these failures at schools with strong sorority cultures, so it is doubtful they would be seen as capable of establishing here with success.

Yes, it happens to all sororities at some point. The point is that when this does happen it is NOT the time for that national org to try to establish a new chapter at a school like UA, which requires a hefty, immediate investment in a new house and alumnae involvement. When a national house corp has to fill large physical houses on other campuses that no longer have membership to put in them, just to simply maintain them and break even, minus the loss of those membership dues, they are spreading themselves too thin to come on here. At a smaller school where it would be easier to establish, yes. The same thing has unfortunately recently been happening for AGD with loosing chapters. These two nationals are currently on the downswing, so it's not their time right now. It's a question of the right timing and circumstances for any national to come on.
