There are post being bumped from 2012. Uh what? Here are some FACTS for 2023!
Chi-o is the hardest to get a bid from. PERIOD
Kappa and pi phi sometimes compete for the same girls at pref (depends on the year who steals the most tops) BUT most pnm’s that have kappa or pi phi on pref do not have another top house. Another hard truth… kappas are not liked on campus and pi phis are
Zeta IS a top house and last year took girls that were tops from both kappa and pi phi. This will get a thumbs down because based on what I just saw someone on here is a zeta hater.
Tri Delt does stand alone in its own league! Very strong house during recruitment and girls do sometimes choose them over a top.
Phi mu does better during recruitment than anyone on here wants to admit. They get bashed for trying to recruit solely based on looks and it’s my opinion they have some bitter pretty girls that believe because of their looks they should be in a top house.
KD/ADPI and after last recruitment AXO are equal. Get ready for MANY thumbs down from KD’s. KD also has had a lot of girls drop recently. They did spring rush but get this clear…. With the HUGE pledge classes last year no one needed to do spring rush. It’s all about more girls equal more money.
AOPI and DG are equal. Last year DG had a great recruitment.
Once recruitment is over rankings really don’t matter. Everyone knows if you’re a chi o for example, you knew a well liked chi o who pulled for you or an important alum. What does matter is liking the overall vibe of your house. Look around at pref. See if who is in your party seems similiar to you. You won’t spend much time with the sophomore that just rushed you once big/lil is over.
If you must come on this site go read descriptions rather than rankings. Clearly no one can agree. If you have to look at ranks I would go for the tiers. And within those tiers they are interchange.
Chi o, kappa, zeta, pi phi. Chi o is sort of its own breed picking girls far in advance of recruitment. Arkansas girls love pi phi while kappa and zeta have alot of out of state girls.
I would put Tri Delt in its own tier.
Phi mu, KD, ADPI and AXO - just depends on who you like during recruitment!
Aopi and dg bottom tier but only because I guess someone has to be on this site.

Wow this is actually amazingly accurate. I will say though just because a house is the hardest to get into doesn’t mean it’s the most desired. When top houses have their list of 500 or so girls that want to even take past the first night, you can best believe they have cut most girls that may be pledging another house. Much research is done over the summer and top houses do not take girls far that may go in another direction. That is why most girls that end up in a top house ( I would say atleast 80 percent) have a top house and a much lower house on pref.
All that being said these top houses would be humbled by how many girls ranked them low early on. I wish more gamma chi’s would actually tell the truth on here. If chi o thinks every pnm ranks them first or even at the top of their desired list they are delusional.

I don’t understand why people say the tops would be “humbled” if they saw PNM rankings. I just don’t think they would care because nothings going to change… They never had those PNMS on their radar and still get a majority if not all of the PNMs they want.

^ btw, you're wrong. I'm an adpi and we are even with both kd and tri delt. We all like each other. There is not the drama on campus as you see it here.

love this! kappa has competition from zeta, pi phi and tri delt! they have been slipping hard the past two recruitments although they will never admit it.

I'm not a kd, but I gave it a downvote because phi mu is not that high and axo is not with adpi or kd.

Super curious why you would give this a thumbs down. I think it’s super accurate. I don’t think phi mu is that high but what she said about them I totally agree with. I think girls liked axo last year ( based on freshman I know) but maybe that didn’t raise them equal to adpi? Idk though because I know two girls that ranked adpi in bottom three first night because they didn’t have a good video. Still overall this seems like a very accurate post.

I think girls should not “try again” with recruitment. It only gets harder as a sophomore and spring rush is risky. Most houses take less than 10 girls and top houses take none or in the case of zeta five or less may get a bid if an in house member highly pushes for them to get a bid. These chapters are so large these days I think finding your people shouldn’t be that difficult. It just takes effort!

girls drop in all houses, as well as graduate in December. most houses decide to do spring rush/COB to fill those spots.

All true! The people that may thumbs down this….. KD for being put equal to axo and phi mu ( I honestly don’t thinks ADPI’s care enough to come on here)
Pi phi wouldn’t care to thumbs down zeta being a top house. They are confident in their house and have a totally different vibe.
Kappa would down vote this for saying they are not well liked and pi phis are though. They also would hate to admit girls cut them for zeta but it happened last year and that has to sting. So I am guessing all the down votes are from KD’s and Kappas.!
