Spring or COB as a sophomore?

I’m a freshman that rushed and didn’t get the house I wanted on bid day. If I do spring rush or COB next year will it be super hard? I really love the greek life here and a lot of girls i’ve met in certain houses, I just think fall rush wasn’t in my favor. Advice?

The only houses that will do COB are ADPi, AXO, AOII, Phi Mu, DG and maybe KD. Zeta has taken 1-2 girls in the past. With the size of pledge classes, there may not be many spots at any of the houses. COB is not like fall rush. You have to be invited to come to events and that chapter will extend a bid if they choose. I would try to meet as many girls as possible and ask them to pull for you at their house. The good thing about COB is your PC is very small and those girls usually have a very close bond, at least in my chapter they did

Almost all sororities do COB, but only some are transparent about that fact.

If you signed a MRABA following Pref and didn't accept your bid you can't do COR and have to wait until next Fall to go through.

The truth for zeta for spring recruitment. Every year they will take a few girls that in house members highly recommend. This has nothing to do with trying to keep quota. It is because every member brings income into the organization which can help keep dues lower for everyone. Zeta has the largest number of active members than any other house on campus ( and I think nationwide). Last year ( and most likely this year) they did not take any new members.

I'd be surprised if more than a couple houses have spots for spring since PC22 is so big for every house. you might have a chance with dg, aoii, and possibly axo
