A look into the “personalities” of the houses! it’s tough to make generalizations about 400-500+ girls but i think these descriptions give an accurate look into how houses try to present themselves and how others perceive them. feel free to add on to this with other categories but i think this list is solid!

It’s important to note that there are smart, involved, pretty, and social girls in EVERY house. These are more of “trends” than sweeping generalizations. And people don’t necessarily pledge a house just because they fit the stereotype of the house— some girls who are really smart and involved in high school choose a more laid back sorority than an academic one because they don’t want to be in a house where they can stand out. There are wild girls in pi phi and tri delt, and involved girls in phi mu and alpha o. It’s more about where you think you’ll be happiest.
