Reality vs Rankings

If Panhellenic looked at PNMs rankings the tiers would look completely different.
Yes Chi O and Kappa prob released me, but I also put them last in ranking. I’m sure this happened with a lot of us this year because everyone I know put at least one “top” house on the bottom of their list before Philanthropy.
The “tops” will continue to cut large amounts because Panhellenic will continue to give them lots of cuts so these “top” sororities will never know (or admit) that they are not really that desired or “top”.
How can this change? Who in Panhellenic needs to hear this?

It won’t change. They have to give out certain numbers of cuts in order for girls to not be quota cut at the end and for the newer houses to be given a chance. The past will dictate the future and girls weren’t even given the opportunity to cut chi o /kappa first if they were not already on their list to move to second round. Do I believe pnms ranked them lower than probably atleast two to three other houses first round? Yes. Will they themselves believe that or even care? Nope

^ Wow this is just so far from the truth. Two of my closest friends are chi o. They and lots of their pledge class hate it but don't tell many people because you know status

I 100% believe that all the new Chi Os that knew they were going to be Chi Os in like June love it because they know a lot of people. Chi Os that did t have best friends or sisters in already are honestly kinda hating it.

This breaks all Panhellenic rules. Chi O should get in big trouble for this. They were telling PNM’s over the summer that they were gonna be a Chi O…I know several girls who went to lunch with Chi O’s this summer before recruitment and were told they had a spot.

No one in Panhellenic needs to hear it because it’s the best system to give newer houses a chance and have the highest possible placement rate for all pnms. The newer houses need to keep more pnms so fill their pcs and to find a house for most pnms.

Except for the chi o girls that don’t already have a group. It can be isolating since so many of them are already friends coming in to the sorority as a freshman
