This is ridiculous. So many touchy feely all houses are great yay! posts which, ok so UArk has great houses. True. And you get out of it what you put in to it and all that. BUT, honestly, would YOU have felt 100% comfortable and happy in ABSOLUTELY ALL ELEVEN houses?
I don’t think PNMs only wanted top houses — I know I didn’t. And I know most of the girls in my dorm and in my GX group didn’t. In fact I think all of us put at least one “top” house in the bottom 3 ranking and some out more than one.
So yes I get it pan love everyone is great. But really? Really? Would you have been 100% happy with any house?

Basically top houses need to stop thinking everyone wants them. Because they don’t. And it’s ok not to click with a house. So everyone getting pissy about you should just be flattered someone wants you, uh no. Not every house is a fit for all girls.
(And yes I’m late and reading through old posts but it just makes me want to scream how rude some people are about just be glad someone likes you and all houses are great. In theory yes. In reality, think about it)

This is so true. I think chi o and kappa need a reality check. Chi o gets their Arkansas girls that grew up thinking they will go to uark and be a chi o because that’s what their moms told them to think and who cares. Kappa was cut by so many pnm’s this year early. If they don’t realize after this year that not everyone would care to be in their house than they never will. Unless their recruitment chair lied to them about how deeply they were cut ( sorry ranked low) than this recruitment surely had to sting. Myself and two other people I know could have taken them to pref and chose not too.

i also ranked them low before pref. lots of girls preferred lower ranked houses over kappa that i know. if they don’t admit that than they are delusional.

True. I put two top house in my bottom three before philanthropy round and every single one of my friends and all the girls in my GX group that I talked to cut (ranked bottom three. Whatever) at least one or two tops before philanthropy.
Kappa was one I can say I think everyone I know ranked bottom three in that round.

It’s 2022. That is so wrong. Pi phi & kappa know full well zeta is top tier and the fact they tried to push them down simply means they are insecure about their rush. No I am not a zeta but I have TWO gamma chi friends. KD adpi and tri delt are equal but after this recruitment AXO needs a spot next to them. Even if they have to replace adpi to be there.
