Chi-O forced to take certain PNM’s

Let me preface this post by saying that I KNOW this is very superficial…but…judging by the looks of some of the Chi-O new members, it’s obvious that older alums still have the last word on whether or not certain PNM’s are given a bid. I almost feel sorry for the active Chi-O’s during recruitment, since it seems that they are forced to take so many daughters/granddaughters/friends etc. of wealthy/influential Arkansas alumni.
This is why Chi-O is no longer seen as a desirable sorority by many of the out of state PNM’s.

This is not new news. The majority of chi o’s pledge class has always been picked by alums. I know two girls that cut them before pref. If you don’t make an emotional connection with the girl then you lose.

Yhea, I know. But just thought they were trying to be more open to girls with no connections. Guess not.
