Really nervous about pref
by: pmnMy friends and I are all crazy stressed out about getting our list tomorrow. Some of us still had five this round, but most of us only have one or two. We are trying to prepare ourselves but it is really hard.

If you SIP you will not be eligible for a quota addition. You are more likely to end up in your top choice if you don’t SIP.

Reminder yourself continually that you are not defined by being in a sorority or the 15-45 minute conversations you had. Recruitment is a brutal process on both sides and sometimes people don’t click. It’s not you, it’s not them, it’s just what is it sometimes. Stay close with the women you met even if they got into a sorority and you didn’t. Meet the people in your dorm, get involved on campus, meet people and connect with people in your classes. Try spring recruitment!! It’s way less intense. There are so many things to look forward to in college, don’t let this (potential) disappointment get you down or close you off from being able to experience things
