Surprised by ________
by: PNMAfter the brutal first round cuts, are there any houses that surprised you in a good way? I have been following greek rank for a while and thought I would see such a big difference, but really they are all the same, but with a different vibe. I feel so much better than I did after the first round of cuts.

give pi phi another chance. just like pnm’s can have an off party so can in house girls.

just left pi phi an hour ago. most surprised i can’t see myself there. i know several girls who cut them last round and i gave them another chance. i heard they have had some issues but idk what that means. this is the original house i wanted. i can’t believe i am thinking about ranking them low this round. i hope i don’t regret that.

Honestly glad to read this about pi phi because I was cut by them yesterday and was really upset.
I am not getting a good feel for phi mu — I liked the girls but it all seemed so rehearsed. Like not real ya know?

Pi Phi is not having their greatest recruitment. I have heard things about work week and day one recruitment. I think they will do ok but have heard of several people cutting them after philanthropy round which probably through them for a loop.

I've heard several girls say they were surprised by Phi Mu and AXO! They loved them!

I guess so much of it depends on who you’re talking to. I know there’s no perfect way, but if the “parties” could be more of a party where you just talk to people, not such orchestrated bump groups and all that, then if there was someone you didn’t click with you could talk to someone else like a natural party.

i had a really good conversation with the first girl i talked to in phi mu but they decided to also pair me with a girl who went to my high school. we didn’t know each other then and it was really awkward and she gave me mean girl vibes. i would have been okay going back but they cut me

loved adpi and tri delt! i was more surprised that i was underwhelmed at pi phi than the fact i loved other houses. i am guessing i will be cut. they didn’t act that interested. i am hoping that’s not the case and the girls i talked with were just shy.
