FIRST ROUND VIRTUAL??
by: future pnmHeyy everybody(i am hopefully) rushing next year and i was wondering if the first round(open) will always be virtual?or if starting next year it will be in-person again?thank you so much.

I think there are pros and cons to both. I think it can hurt PNMs with amazing personalities because the chapters don’t get to meet you and most don’t look at the videos. It can hurt the “lower tier” houses because girls just go off of ranks. I tried to cut DG open house and I went back and I ended up loving them.
I will say that I’m guessing if I was cut first round from all the tops (except ZTA) before they even met me, I was going to be cut anyways so it doesn’t matter and I’d rather be cut before I got my hopes up.

Unless you already have friends in the hard to get into sororities, you prob don’t want to be in them. Just because it’s a “top” house doesn’t mean it’s the best house. Top = more difficult to get into = more cuts/smaller number of PNMs
Truth is if you don’t already know girls in those hard to get into houses then you will prob be cut.
