Best houses for OOS

What are the best houses for OOS PNMs? I keep reading that I’d feel left out if I join Chi O (which I know I’ll be dropped first round anyway, so no big deal). What houses have mostly high school Arkansas as friends and are hard to make friends in?

You’ll find friends in every house!!! But kappa,
Chi o, pi phi, and tri delt seem to be the most cliquey

You'll find your group in any house if you're willing to try. Every house has OOS members.

Ok that’s good to hear. The vibe I got on here was that some were just kinda an extension of high school and everyone already pretty much knew everyone.

What you heard is true. Kappa and chi o are mostly filled with legacies and friends the members had in high school. Alums daughters and friends of alum’s daughters…
Very, very hard to break through that if you don’t have connections.

There will always be someone on here to tell you “be yourself and be positive…it can happen.” Very, very rare. Be realistic

Chi o kappa pi phi and zeta are going to be the most selective.

@woopig zeta has a large amount of out of state girls and kappa has many texas and Kansas City girls as well!

I just don’t want to end up in a house where everyone went to high school together and already has their friend groups and I’m just sitting there. If I wanted that I’d have gone to UT.
How can I tell if the PNMs all know each other?
