Chi o “wish grant”

by:

Chi o having the wish grant yesterday was a little suspicious. The timing felt as if they did it right in to time to try to impress the pnms. I’m sure this will be something they talk about to the girl’s rushing that they “just granted a wish last week.” I hope I’m wrong but it seemed a little intentional. Clout chasing?

Probably a bit of a stretch. Chi O doesn’t really have to impress the PNMs because the vast majority of their bid day list is already set.

Literally every sorority is focused on standing out and impressing PNMs - even Chi O, who may very well already have their bid list mostly finalized but still need those girls to be excited about being part of the chapter (and truthfully, whatever their faults Chi O’s leadership isn’t dumb and they understand that there is at least a slight possibility that they may meet some outstanding PNMs during recruitment and should be prepared to impress them).

Recruitment is to a large extent about marketing and branding, even for very established houses. If you’re active in a chapter you should understand this.

This is a stretch. Make-A-Wish has grants planned out months in advance. Will they use this to their advantage, yes. Was it on purpose, absolutely not.

Still a nice gesture. Win for the little boy and a win for chi o.
