Posting on tiktok
by: PnmWill pnm’s really be cut by houses if they post on tiktok during rush? It’s kinda crazy to me that they would even try to mandate something like that. What is so harmful about sharing outfits?

I think Panhellenic has said in general not to post ootd and stuff during rush but you can post whatever after.
Last year’s Bama situation got out of hand. There were strange men going to the houses stalking girls and the city had to put extra police presence around — all kinds of logistical and safety concerns.

it’s not the sharing outfits that’s harmful, it’s the massive social media attention that puts on the recruitment process and the chapters those girls pledge. generally, most chapters (or at least mine) aren’t really wanting to rush girls who are large influencers on tik tok just because of the social risk it creates. i think absolutely make those cutie tik toks showing off outfits you’re proud of, but maybe just wait until after rush to post them just to be on the safer side
