NERVOUS about rush!!
by: josiepnm here! I am extremely nervous / terrified of rushing. After reading on here about the importance of rec letters and connections and realizing i’m low in both aspects, I just get the feeling I won’t get a bid! I’ve gotten 0 letters of recommendation because I didn’t know they were THAT important and so many people told me they weren’t, which contradicts what people r saying in the post on here about the letters of rec. I know absolutely nobody since I’m not from here. I’m just so stressed about it all honestly.

If the house requires you to have a rec letter, they will write one for you if they love you! So don’t worry about that! As far as connections go, they are important for certain houses but would you really want to be in a house that is already formed clicks you aren’t apart of??

^^ true! I had recs for all but one house and that house never cut me:). I pledged another house but was super surprised I went as far as I did with them. You do probably need to prepare yourself to get cut from chi o, zeta, pi phi and kappa the first night and honestly probably tri delt. That will be many girls not just you that have zero connections or rec letters.
