Pnm’s here is what is going to happen….

As you can see all of sudden there is some crazy rankings. Houses are doing what they can to push other houses down and move themselves up as recruitment gets closer. There are tiers not ranks. Ask around campus and you will hear the same thing over and over.
Tier ONE - kappa, zeta, pi phi, chi o. Weird order buts that’s because there is no order! Each house have their list and yes some crossover but not every crossover pnm will choose chi o over the other houses and no longer is there a top two. Clearly what happened with kappa / pi phi last year proved there is no order. Zeta also took home almost all of their top ranked girls. All four will do very well.
Tier TWO - Tri delt doesn’t want to hear this but KD is on their level AND there are some girls ( maybe not a huge amount but still) that will choose adpi and phi mu over them. That is simply the truth. All four houses are amazing ( still can’t understand the phi mu hate on here) and in my opinion KD has moved up the most.
Tier three - aopi, dg and axo. Axo isn’t going to like this but the truth is they are usually ranked in tier three night one by most pnm’s and aopi has had two amazing recruitments back to back.
Anyone who tells you that this tier level that has been on here ALL YEAR is incorrect either has their own does not attend uark!

True but now that recruitment has begun many houses are seeming desperate to make their house seem like the more exclusive one! This post is very accurate

I transferred to Arkansas from a university on the east coast. Those are the letters we used when talking about houses.
I got a COB during spring recruitment from a tier 3 house and couldn't be happier!

Only because of sites like this and people like you that drag them down. They are BOTH amazing houses with wonderful girls. If pnms give them a chance then they’ll see this for themselves! There are girls of every type in every house!!!! Stop pretending your self worth is based off of your letters - it absolutely is not!! I would much rather be in a house where I’m valued and fit than a house with girls that think they’re better than others!

Yes, if you cut them, but don't get back some of the houses that you ranked higher, typically they will take the spot since they don't make nearly as many cuts as the top few houses do.

A handful of girls had both houses on pref and went pi phi. That on top of the fact that kappa was rude to a lot of pnm’s by acting disinterested moved kappa way down in the “tier” category. Still this is a very small percentage of girls that have two top house choices on pref. Most girls have one top house and one much lower. Just because a girl has four top houses the round before pref doesn’t mean more than one of those will invite her to pref.

Maybe the downvote is because DeDe is a kappa? Pi phi has gone overboard with the taking of kappas tops. They lost some of their tops as well to other top houses.

Agree.Tiers not ranks. And how pnm’s pick within those tiers often have to do with who they are matched with during recruitment. I had a super nice kappa and a completely disinterested pi phi last year so my experience was not what I have read on here. I know girls on my floor that were not happy with kappa so ofcourse it confused me to hear all that.
