Why do some sororities hold up brooms during bid day???

It means they “swept” aka had a good recruitment, got the best pledge class. IMO it’s bad sportsmanship and not very pan love.

It’s not that deep…it’s a cute little play on words. Professional baseball teams do it when they sweep a series. Is that unsportsmanlike?

Calm down. Every sorority should feel like they swept. Every member should feel like her sorority is the best. Every pnm should feel they got the best house.
