My real worry about recruitment
by: PnmI’m open to any house. I want to find a sorority that fits me. I know all Ark sororities are good. What I’m most worried about is not getting a bid at all. How likely is that if I don’t drop and I stay open minded?

As long as you stay open to all the houses, the chance that you get dropped completely is extremely slim. Most of the girls I know who dropped during recruitment still had houses, but they just didn't want to be in them. Unless you do something crazy during recruitment week or talk bad about other houses during your parties, you should be completely fine.

there are two different types of pnm. pnm 1 has a preconceived idea of where she thinks she BELONGS and believes she is too good for other houses. pnm 2 is open to everyone and just wants to be part of a genuine sisterhood (which you will find in ANY house).
pnm 1 we can't wait to get out of our house. we can tell she has no interest in being there so we don't want her wasting our time. she hasn't learned the valuable lesson of humility and hasn't taken herself down off of the pedestal she put herself on.
pnm 2 is the girl that when we finish talking to her during recruitment, we're telling everyone "oh my gosh, i LOVE her!!!". pnm 2 is the girl that if we don't see her come back, we're sad and wondering why she didn't like us as much as we loved her. we can tell pnm 2 is genuine and we want genuine.
you are definitely pnm 2! you will be just fine!! absolutely thrilled and hoping i get to meet you!!!
#5 by: Nervous Rush Tip
Rush Tip: When you are talking to actives, refrain from saying you are nervous. Or tired, or hot, or your feet hurt, or whatever negative problem thing is on your mind. We do already know how you are feeling because we were that way too and we actually hear that stuff so much that it just gets tiresome. It gives us no personal insight into who you are. We are here to get to know you a little better in the short time we have allotted, and none of those comments help that along. So "how is rush going for you" is not your cue to open up that way. Please be prepared with something a bit more original, amusing, interesting, etc that gives us a better glimpse of your personality and outlook.
