Rushing as a sophomore

DECENT HOUSE??? ALL houses are great! With that attitude, don’t bother!!

I’m rushing too as a freshman this year and personally, I would go in with an open mind. All of the houses are great in their own way and you shouldn’t let ranks or greek rank skew your opinion on what a “decent house” is. With that mindset, rush week won’t be fun, but if you come in with an open mind and act your yourself, you’ll find your people and the right house for you.

Probably cut by the top houses. Okay chance at the alphas and phi mu. DG is probs your best bet, I know a lot of girls who rushed as sophomores there. All houses are great and being a member of Arkansas Greek life is a privilege not a right, and it’s a fun experience

Curious-what do YOU consider a “decent” house?? Many people don’t think Kappa is “decent” because it’s high school 2.0. Others don’t think Chi O is “decent” because they have a real life actual murderer that they rushed. Yet both are considered “top” houses. So again, what do YOU consider “decent”?

I think by decent you mean “desirable” based on what others think.
Honestly with so many freshmen admitted and the number of ladies going through recruitment, one the “lower ranked” houses on here is where you’ll most likely receive a bid to. Not a bad thing, but the top houses know who they are giving bids to already. For the most part.

Was your freshman year here? You didn't meet ANY sorority members last year?

I just want to clarify my post a little more. It was in no way meant to be demeaning. I am from out of state and transferring. I am just trying to gage what my experience may be like and prepare for the process the best way I can.
