Actives following pnm?

by:

Hi! What does it mean when a member from a sorority follows a pnm on instagram? I’ve had about 2 actives from different sorority’s follow me this week and I’m just curious as to what it means or how they found me? I may just be overthinking it but i’m still curious! Thanks!

As soon as you register, your info goes out to the houses. So what it means is they saw something they like in you! Be sure to follow them back!

It means they could be interested in you, but don’t take it as a guarantee to that house. Chapters want to see what you’re posting so they know you’re not posting questionable things so make sure socials are clean including Facebook, Twitter, and especially VSCO. I can’t tell you how many PNMs had their VSCO in their Instagram bio with pictures of them with alcohol, etc. also in my chapter they told us to go follow pretty much any girl with uark ‘2(graduation year) in their bio and we would also find PNMs on those Instagram pages where people like send a pic of themself and a bio like UArk class of graduation year

I’m a PNM and i’ve already registered, so is it a bad thing if actives aren’t following me?

no but you could help yourself get noticed by following some actives in each of the chapters.
sophomores are your best bet as they will be the most involved in recruitment and are looking for littles. look for the uark 25 insta paige for sophomores as well as the individual sorority instagrams. it doesn’t hurt to follow exec members as well. at this point they may not follow you back but still may recognize your face and get on their radar!
