Rankings and why - July 2022 edition

#1 Chi O – Look, they’ve made a lot of bad choices and had several scandals over the years, but the bottom line is they were founded here. They have a lot of alumni support and they’re always going to do well. I can honestly say that they had a good year for the first time in a while so hopefully they’re back on the right track.

#2 Pi Phi – Pi Phi had a GREAT recruitment in 2021 and also had a really good year. They’re friendly and smart, obviously. They are usually the top GPA of all Greek life. Need a little more visibility from them but they definitely earned this spot.

#3 Zeta – They’re fun, they’re friendly. Everyone has a Zeta friend. They’re very passionate about their philanthropy. They are firmly in the number 3 spot. You’ll always find a Zeta at a party!

#4 Kappa – Kappa took a big tumble this year. They had a horrible recruitment by no one’s fault but their own. You can’t be rude to pnms you don’t want – they just might be the roommate of one you do want! They’re too entitled, and it shows.

#5 KD - Smart and involved. KD also has a very good national image that helps. Fun, friendly girls. I think they gained a slight edge over Tri Delt this year.

#6 Tri Delt –Beautiful house. They’re passionate about their philanthropy. Friendly girls – some a little odd though. They just seem to be stagnant these days unfortunately.

#7 ADPI – Sweet girls, friendly and fun. They’ve done a good job of moving up the ranks. They do try to claim they’re on the same level as KD and Tri Delt, but they just aren’t there yet. They are such sweet girls though, so I wish they’d just stop worrying about ranks. Genuine.

#8 AXO and AOPI – these two houses are about as equal as you can get. Honestly the most genuine girls you’ll find on Maple. They’re just living life and not worrying about ranks. Very comparable to ADPI.

AXO - Genuine, friendly girls. They have moved up the list quickly for a newer house. Very involved on campus and the girls proudly wear their letters. They are super passionate about their philanthropy. Best sisterhood on campus – these girls have a strong bond.

AOPI – Pretty, fun, sweet girls – some a little quirky. They have really stepped it up the last couple of years and become much more involved. The most laid-back house on campus but they do have girls that definitely know how to party.

#10 Phi Mu – They always recruit well because they know how to turn it on during recruitment, but then they go back to their true selves. This house has allowed the mean girls to take over. If you’re a pretty girl, they’ll take you no matter what kind of person you are. There are definitely some sweet girls in the house, but they’ve got to step up and get a hold of the reins and start steering this house back in the right direction.

#11 DG – Sad thing is when ranking someone has to be at the bottom. Newest house and it’s just going to take some time for them to work their way up. DG is a GREAT house. They’re very involved and have very sweet, genuine girls. It’s been said a million times here but it’s the honest truth – our lowest house would be a top house on most other campuses. Facts. PNMs should not sleep on DG. You will find real friendships here.
