Rankings and why - July 2022 edition

#1 Chi O – Look, they’ve made a lot of bad choices and had several scandals over the years, but the bottom line is they were founded here. They have a lot of alumni support and they’re always going to do well. I can honestly say that they had a good year for the first time in a while so hopefully they’re back on the right track.
#2 Pi Phi – Pi Phi had a GREAT recruitment in 2021 and also had a really good year. They’re friendly and smart, obviously. They are usually the top GPA of all Greek life. Need a little more visibility from them but they definitely earned this spot.
#3 Zeta – They’re fun, they’re friendly. Everyone has a Zeta friend. They’re very passionate about their philanthropy. They are firmly in the number 3 spot. You’ll always find a Zeta at a party!
#4 Kappa – Kappa took a big tumble this year. They had a horrible recruitment by no one’s fault but their own. You can’t be rude to pnms you don’t want – they just might be the roommate of one you do want! They’re too entitled, and it shows.
#5 KD - Smart and involved. KD also has a very good national image that helps. Fun, friendly girls. I think they gained a slight edge over Tri Delt this year.
#6 Tri Delt –Beautiful house. They’re passionate about their philanthropy. Friendly girls – some a little odd though. They just seem to be stagnant these days unfortunately.
#7 ADPI – Sweet girls, friendly and fun. They’ve done a good job of moving up the ranks. They do try to claim they’re on the same level as KD and Tri Delt, but they just aren’t there yet. They are such sweet girls though, so I wish they’d just stop worrying about ranks. Genuine.
#8 AXO and AOPI – these two houses are about as equal as you can get. Honestly the most genuine girls you’ll find on Maple. They’re just living life and not worrying about ranks. Very comparable to ADPI.
AXO - Genuine, friendly girls. They have moved up the list quickly for a newer house. Very involved on campus and the girls proudly wear their letters. They are super passionate about their philanthropy. Best sisterhood on campus – these girls have a strong bond.
AOPI – Pretty, fun, sweet girls – some a little quirky. They have really stepped it up the last couple of years and become much more involved. The most laid-back house on campus but they do have girls that definitely know how to party.
#10 Phi Mu – They always recruit well because they know how to turn it on during recruitment, but then they go back to their true selves. This house has allowed the mean girls to take over. If you’re a pretty girl, they’ll take you no matter what kind of person you are. There are definitely some sweet girls in the house, but they’ve got to step up and get a hold of the reins and start steering this house back in the right direction.
#11 DG – Sad thing is when ranking someone has to be at the bottom. Newest house and it’s just going to take some time for them to work their way up. DG is a GREAT house. They’re very involved and have very sweet, genuine girls. It’s been said a million times here but it’s the honest truth – our lowest house would be a top house on most other campuses. Facts. PNMs should not sleep on DG. You will find real friendships here.

Kindness matters- if a sorority is continually mean to pnms how is that considered top tier? Being top tier is the complete package, beautiful both inside and out, smart and involved.

^^ I don’t think she ever said phi mu was top tier? Kappas are other hand…..
It will be interesting to see how recruitment goes for them after losing so many of their top girls last year.

@heyu not going to happen. love dg, they’re super sweet but they’re just not there yet. there is a definite gap between axo, aopi, adpi and phi mu to dg and they’re not close to bridging it yet.

PNMS!! Do not listen to these backhanded rankings. Someone has a problem with sorority ABC and they try to make them look bad. The truth is that not one house is last or mid or whatever. If you will go into recruitment with your eyes wide open, you will see that you could fit into any of these houses because there are so many different types in each one. The best thing you can do is challenge yourself to never look at this toxic site again.

Pretty sure that was written by a kappa^^^. And if someone has a problem with your house it’s because y’all ( or many atleast). deserve it. Never met more rude girls as the kappas on my floor freshman year. I am a junior so when I heard pnm’s complaining about kappas during recruitment last year I was not the least bit surprised! And no I did not write that rank.

this is very accurate and positive description of the houses. every house is a good house, I mean come on we’re at arkansas!!
kappa and phi mu have the more mean girls, kappa is just more uptight and phi mu is not. Both have awesome girls I know personally and some not very nice girls. Kappa doesn’t need to “turn it on” for recruitment since they’re just rushing friends and family.. it’s high school 2.0.. and that will catch up to them eventually. Phi mu has some absolutely stunning fun girls and I know they’ve met some good friends!!
Adpi/axo/kd/tri delt are all very similar to me. They all have pretty solid aesthetics that are unique to their house but have similar personalities! Quirky cute girls, fun basic sorority girls, all smart, hard working, and pretty!! To be in these houses you will have an awesome sorority experience!
Dg is an awesome house, and dg is very good across the country! It’s just a newer house and at arkansas with how competitive it all is, they just tend to get the girls who were cut more in the recruitment process. They’ve gotten some absolutely stunning, popular, sweet girls and you will have an awesome time in greek life if you just let the jokes/comments time off your back!
Every house at arkansas is a good house and you will meet your best friends through the years!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Kappa in my opinion have far more rude, judgemental and downright mean girls than phi mu based on the ones I have met!

I had the same and I chose KD, it really truly is where you feel the most like yourself. Go confidently!!

Not in either kappa or zeta but I am pretty sure pnm’s will want to be in a fun, non judgmental well liked house over a rude, elitist house like kappa. It’s ridiculous to say kappa is ahead of zeta ( or pi phi) after last year. Simply not true

Because they are the ones doing the ranking. People are going to rank their house the highest. It's obvious who writes each post. They could also rank another house lower because they have a problem with a girl in that house. (Went out with her ex) There are top girls in all the houses. I have best friends in many houses.

i agree kd > tri delt
i think it’s a toss up between pi phi and zeta depending on the pnm. personally zeta>pi phi because the girls on my floor were so fun and inclusive. zetas will just as easily hang out with an axo as they would a chi o. not sure if the pi phi’s would. still pi phi is an amazing house.
chi o was founded here. enough said.
kappas barely deserve the number four spot.
i have not met an alpha i didn’t like so adpi, axo, and aopi should be equal
dg needs a spot higher than last! how do we expect any sorority to come to uark (we badly need more houses!) if the system doesn’t allow for the newer houses to move up in ranks!
