Is there diversity during recruitment?

Hi! This is a good question. Going into recruitment no house is going to have a quota for POC. If they like you they like you, if they don’t they don’t. Seeing POC is not very common in greek life here, but I believe it’s probably due to not feeling respected by the culture, which is understandable. Answer in short: NO you will never get cut because of your skin color. We have a very strong and respectable African American woman as the head of greek life, and she would never let that fly.

If anything houses are looking for diversity! They won’t pick you or cut you based on skin color (blonde white girls included!) they just want girls they like talking to! So just be yourself and be proud and you will end up exactly where you’re supposed to!!
