Retention rates

What are the retention rates by sorority? Who has the most active seniors? Is there somewhere to look this info up?

I don’t believe there is anywhere to look up this info. I am going to be a junior and I will say the pledge class ahead of me is very active. I think it’s depends more on the pledge class than the house. It has been a struggle to get the girls in the pledge class below me to be very involved. I am in a “mid” house but again I really think it’s more about the pledge class.

On GR I’ve read that AXO has trouble retaining girls and lots of girls drop after their first year. And that pi Phi doesn’t have many seniors.

Congratulations for being such a diligent GR follower. Now, take this information as gospel, tell the other pnm's what you read, and be sure to mention it to the actives too. You will be all set for rush.

attitudes like ^ would be the reason axo has trouble retaining members

The comment obviously has nothing to do with retention rates and everything to do with someone's agenda.

So everyone on here is literally on GR. And everyone slams each other for reading GR.
No one said they were going to spread anything — someone asked a question. Are y’all really this petty and scared? People are constantly talking about “blah blah can’t keep pledges” and “so and so have the worst sisterhood” but when someone ASKS, which is kinda the point of GR, it’s all yay for you go spread with pan love.

I think one thing that makes retention look odd for seniors is so many of us came to college with lots of concurrent hours from high school and are graduating early.

I’m wondering about retention rates too but more at the beginning than senior year. I was told that some houses lose a lot of girls between bid day and initiation and others don’t. Why is that?

Look, as with anything else in life you get out of it what you put in to it. PC sizes are large and you might not find your people week one but you WILL find your people in ANY house - and if you don’t, that’s on you.

Sometimes it’s solely for financial reasons.

Another reason is some girls believe they’re “too good” for lower ranked houses - they’re not! Literally ranks are nothing more than which houses have been on campus longest! Don’t believe me, look it up! There are smart, pretty, fun girls in every single house!

Again, you get out of it what you put into it. No one is going to throw themselves at your feet and beg you to be their friend. You’ll have a house full of options, IF you put in the effort.

Chi O has the highest retention rate every year but they also know who they are taking months before rush so the numbers don’t mean much
