How do y’all think the houses are going to do in rec?

I have a feeling the “middle houses” like axo, adpi, aoii, kd, and phi mu are going to do really well and even take girls from the “top houses”

girls are starting to become much more aware of how toxic those houses are and want to have a genuinely good time. the “middle houses” are becoming much more strived after, and I think they’re going to have an awesome recruitment!

what are y’all’s thoughts?

I completely agree! These houses all have genuine sisterhoods and don’t have to try and fit a mold. If pnms aren’t brainwashed by “ranks” and give them a real chance, they’ll all do really well.

The mold, the conformity! Those are things pnms are pushing back on. They no longer want a group that they have to fit into, but one they are accepted into for who they are. Kindness and care are the new vibe instead of wealth and entitlement. Times are changing and promoting a house as "top" because they have been here the longest or make big cuts on day 1 will no longer be accepted by pnms. Just look at the change in grades. Some are rising and some are falling. Change happens and rec 22 will be different.

If by being a middle house means you leave 1 house down/out to make yours better- think you still have a way to go. Best of luck.

hey! original poster here. DG is definitely included, but with them being the newest they aren’t as competitive. Great girls, great house, and they will probably have an awesome recruitment just like last year! I was just focusing on those houses specifically! :)

Here’s to hoping pnms don’t fall for the high school 2.0 mess and think their letters will make or break them. There are too many people on campus and they need to accept they can’t carry the popular homecoming queen vibe any longer - time to grow up! Give everyone a chance. There are beautiful, smart, fun, friendly girls in every single house! You will find your people in any house-and if you don’t, it’s only because YOU didn’t try.

we would not classify some of these as middle houses, but I think all the houses will do well this recruitment. There are so many pmns for this fall, the pledge classes will be large again.

I think she just means that of the houses listed by OP as middle houses, only adpi and kd are that (and tri delt). The other houses are still good, but they aren't middle yet.
