2022 frat ranks (with reason)

by: Parice

Top: Pike/Fiji

These 2 frats throw the best parties/functions, know how to have a good time when it comes down to it, I talk and get along with most of the guys in each of these houses and for the most part they’re both awesome. with this big of pledge classes there will be a few bad apples in both but i overall have the most fun at these houses.

Upper Middle: SAE/sigma chi

When I came to Arkansas I had heard these are 2 of the best which is something that can be argued. I just think the only reason these 2 houses are favored is because they are majority Arkansas kids. They throw fun parties and have fun functions but a lot of the time can be stuck up rich kids. Don’t get me wrong I love these 2 frats I just don’t think they can be top houses.

Lower Mid: Phi delt/kappa sig/lambda/sigma nu

Phi delt is here just because they can not stay out of trouble. They had good parties but their PCs will start to go downhill and lose good guys because they can never have parties or ever have functions. Kappa sig and lambda are over all pretty mid. Lambda has great drinks sometimes but parties and functions lack pretty hard. Kappa sig I think has good guys but also lack with parties sometimes. I also love their back lot party area but there parties inside aren’t the best. Sigma nu has cool guys but parties are really not it.

Upper bottom: beta/sig ep

these 2 are the best frats that don’t have a house. Occasionally have good functions but I can’t really say I’ve ever been to a beta or sig ep party. I see these 2 being the places guys who don’t work hard enough in rush going. They do have some awesome guys that I have met around campus though.

Worst: Farmhouse/AGR/sigma PI/theta chi

These are the frats that don’t have houses or in farmhouses sake just isn’t good

SigEp stands out as a forward-thinking fraternity in all issues, including gender. SigEp has traditionally treated gender as binary, when we live in a world with increasing awareness that gender is not always binary. SigEp’s membership is currently restricted those persons who identify as male, but there is limited space in Greek communities across the country for non-binary individuals to engage.

SigEp is leading the way towards the future of Greek organizations in the United States as gender inclusive organizations. SigEp is convening a task force to explore removing any screening of gender from its membership criteria and this would also expand SigEp’s recruitment pool.
