Ranks and desirable should be two different things
Ranks ~ difficult to get into because Panhellenic makes them cut most girls first OR second round . I say this because I was cut by both chi o , kappa which surprised me after making past dreaded first night cuts.
Desirable houses are houses that a lot of girls want and most people on campus like. Zeta, Pi Phi, KD, Adpi…

I was cut by both of those later in the week as well. This site makes it seem like if you make it past first night your going to pref but that is NOT true. We have to go from five houses down to two so that means they have to make big cuts again as well!

That is a great point! I had two of the top four houses left until the night before pref! Then bam gone! I also thought since I made it through that first round that so many girls in group did not that I would have atleast one left on pref. Nope! I had connections in both houses but super strong connections. Still I was glad to be cut before pref so I could focus on the two I had and not be shocked come bid day if I wasn’t “high enough” on their list.

Yes same tier rankings but truthfully pi phi is above kappa. Kappa was told to cut more girls first night which may make them seem more exclusive but a huge amount of pnm’s also ranked them very low the first night. When pi phi steals your tops they are above you in my opinion. Pi phi’s sort of disappear after recruitment but atleast the ones I know are nice unlike kappas

I get what you are saying. The term "bottom house" isn't an accurate description of the type of woman in the house. these houses typically have wonderful sisterhoods and are a lot less drama than those other houses. I do like the idea of tiers better. these tiers meaning the level of return rate/selection preference/desirability during the recruitment process. Some houses are just more difficult to get a bid from than others, so that is something we wanted to know as pmns so we didn't unnecessarily get our hopes up.

Looks right to me except I think pi phi got several of kappas pref girls so I would swap those two ( and actually put pi phi equal to chi o)
Chi o isn’t well liked on campus but has a strong pull with Little Rock girls and Panhellenic favors them so magically they get most of who they want during recruitment
