I’m so sick of ranks not changing, what’s the point???? so what if a certain house has been here longer, does that really determine how they are viewed on campus?
Why can’t we rank based on genuine interactions, vibes, and popularity in that sense? You know, the most liked or wanted on campus instead of putting the mean girls who are from Arkansas first constantly? Or putting a kind hardworking house bottom? Just bc they’re new?
y’all get what I’m saying? There needs to be some change in Greek life. It’s 2022 people not 1835.

I agree is it beyond frustrating. Panhellenic says ok kappa/chi o you have to cut x amount of girls. Ok zeta/pi phi you have to cut almost as many. So the next day any girl left with one of these four automatically think they are lucky to have them on their schedule even if they weren’t that fond of them! That is what keeps a top house top. Panhellenic!

You know what it’ll take to change it? PNMs ranking those houses LAST after round one!!
Trust me pnms, no one cares about these biased and opinionated rankings! Do you want to have to try and fit in - or would you rather naturally fit in? The other houses have much more to offer! This shouldn’t be a popularity contest based off stupid rankings but it should be about the kind of girls you want as sisters for life!

because the top two houses are known for being super selective. one of my roommates pledged one of these houses instead of picking the other house she pref'd and really regretted it. she felt a true connection with the other house but thought it was more of a privilege to get a bid to a top house. she dropped that house a year later.
