Bid Day Choice Regrets

by:

Has anyone ever regretted the Sorority or Fraternity that they picked? I haven’t heard anyone ever say anything about that before and was curious.

I doubt anyone would say they “regret” their choice but I will say it still saddens me I didn’t get me first choice on pref. Yes it was one of the top four BUT that’s not the reason. The reason is I have friends that did get that house and I feel like my outgoing personality with leadership skills would have thrived in that there. Plus my first choice house has friendly girls that genuinely seem to like each other and not be overly cliquey. I have tried to take a leadership roll in my house but it is sad when we have had so many drop before they really give it a chance.

Ok well I hit send without proof reading and I sound totally dumb😂. “My” house not me house and thrived there ( not in that there).

I’ve never regretted my choice, but I don’t love my house either, however, as a senior I think I can say I would “love” any house. In the grand scheme of things they’re all the same 400+ girl chapter where popularity decides who gets the positions and if you make friends early you’re fine but if not it’s kind of meh.

I think lots of girls in the PC ‘20 class probably regret their house.
That was the crappiest way ever to do rush (not that there was any other way), but I think lots of girls ended up in the wrong houses.
With the exception of Kappa and Chi O who already knew who they were going to take, the other houses basically just randomly selected names to give bids to.
No way it was a legit rush.
If those girls could do it again, who knows where everyone would have landed?
