Rushing as a sophomore 2022
by: 2022pcHow hard is it to rush as a sophomore? Seeing all my friends rush this fall is giving me major FOMO and i want to do it next fall. Any tips on how to get into certain sororities if you don't have connections?

Connections are good for any house. If you know girls in houses, start talking to them now and let them know you’re interested. You could probably get in to many houses next semester, if not sooner.

Neither pi phi or zeta takes sophomores. It’s financial. Freshman pay dues for four years versus three.

Most people who rush as sophomores have friends in houses and those friends are really pulling for them. So, if you’re interested, make sure your friends know you plan to rush. But also understand that sometimes no matter how hard a friend is trying, the house as a whole may not want to take you.

All my friends go to different schools so i won't have any connections. i think i'm gonna rush just for fun and in hopes to get at least one bid but not putting any expectations in it because i know its unlikely for me to get picked

hey queen, just wanted to let u know it's def not impossible. i rushed as a junior and had a full schedule each round. however, the "top houses" (kkg, chi o, tri delt, and pi phi) cut me very early. either way i ended up with the house i wanted from day 1 and love it <3 best of luck

The lengths Tri delts will go is unreal….. y’all are not top four. Period. Y’all are tied with KD and maybe even ADPI. Laughing you would even write this. There is significant gap between top four and Tri delt. Then it gets very messy with the mid houses All pulling for the girls the top houses cut. Which are great girls by the way!

Agree why the Tri delt hate but also agree there is a top four during recruitment. I was a gamma chi and no doubt chi o, kappa, pi phi, zeta were top four and the order of those four were changed up amount the pnm’s ( mostly based on where they were from). That really is the truth. Not in any of those houses just calling it like it is.

i meant certain as in like ones that you will need connections to. Honestly don't know a lot about how rushing works so don't know if i should try.
