WHATS UR OPINION ON GREEK LIFE MOMS?

I'm reading through everything on here, and coming from someone who's out of state and my parents didn't really care what house I got in, let alone the rush process, this is all quite fascinating. It's especially crazy to read the lengths that Chi O, or KKG, or Pi Phi moms and alum will go to in order to secure some girls on bid day.

As I read that Springdale alums were texting girls on pref day, and that the Chi O "red house" is sponsored by alum... it makes me wonder... what is the purpose of trying so hard to keep some of these girls in? Like, I understand if you're daughter wants to be a Chi O... but what's in it for you as an alum to pull through for a girl who's a legacy, and whose family might not be super close to you anyways?

Is it just because they want to have "the rich stay rich" sort of mentality? Are they simply trying to raise the next "arkansas elite" society?
