I dropped out of recruitment because of Greek Rank
by: Why?I dropped out because I listened to all of this and now I am seeing that it just isn't true. Houses cut me that I thought were good. I ranked some low because of what I heard on here. I finally just dropped out because I was sad. KD is granola, DG is a low ranked sorority, Phi Mu has mean girls with bad reputations. These are the things that swayed my thoughts among all the other bashing of all of them. Now that I am getting to know other freshman, I don't see your opinions being correct at all. I've met plenty of girls that do not fit your mold. Could it be that some have changed the narrative by doing the right thing? The one's that are being bashed so much are not the one's coming in here and stirring up drama. I am hoping to rush again next year, but with my eyes more open to what I see instead of what I hear. The KD pledges do not appear granola, the Phi Mu pledges do not have bad reps and the DG pledges are not what you call bottom. Just WWWHHHHYYYYYYY

Yes, I know, but you are missing my point. Kappa, pi phi, chi o, etc, appear to be the mean girls on here. I may be a little granola, but my grades are good. Someone in Phi Mu may be a mean girl, but I am not. I liked Phi Mu and the freshmen I have met, but you guys act like Phi Mu is the Antichrist. Someone else’s grades do not affect mine. I just don’t get it.

Some of the other houses have latched onto the mean girl for Phi Mu. 3 years ago a comment was made and all future Phi Mu's are mean girls with bad reps.

All of the chapters have that catty group, that Smart group, that quirky group, that gorgeous group, that might not be a size 4 group etc.....
Some of the meanest girls are the ones who feel threatened by another house having a great rush.

So sorry you based your choices off what others shared on greek rank. This site should be banned for allowing others to bully and share false information while tarnishing greek life at the U of A. Every house has AMAZING girls. Girls in chapters are friends with each other. Reach out to the sororities offering COB. Hope you find your sisters and forever home.

This is an anonymous internet site that is completely unconcerned with ethics. It is a business that sells ads based on the number of clicks. More drama and nastiness = more clicks and thus more ad sales. The owners of this site do not care about anything but $$$. IDK why people think this site is legitimate. ANYBODY can post on here and say ANYTHING. You don't know who I am, where I am, or anything about me. This site is like road rage, instead of in a car we are behind our screens.

This site is stupid - no one should take it seriously. Everyone who is from Arkansas and has had family involved in Greek like know what houses are considered “top” good” etc. This page is people desperately trying to change those images and it should be seen as pure useless entertainment. Wish all pnms knew that going in. My guess is there about 5 girls j every house who stay on here typing their hearts out and the other 450 don’t give a crap. Don’t take this stuff seriously!!!!

You are so right!!! PNMs find this site and unfortunately listen to the crap that anonymous strangers trying to make their house look better. I guarantee you if this site didn’t exist, most PNMs would rank houses very differently, they would go with their heart and not listen to the absolute junk on here. On campus you can’t tell a “top” house girl from anyone else. All houses have absolutely gorgeous girls, all houses have the not so pretty girls, all houses have brilliant girls, all houses have not so smart girls, all houses have sweet girls, all houses have mean girls.

I’m sorry that you let trolls in here influence your recruitment experience. So many of the posts here are from bitter people who have nothing better to do but post lies to create drama.
All the houses are good and you can thrive in any of them. If you are still interested, several houses will hold spring recruitment. Best of luck to you.

Oh my gosh I literally just said this in a post! I totally agree. I AM in a top house. My girl didn’t make the cut on pref and ended up a phi mu. I LOVE her and she almost dropped out on bid day because she is scared of phi mu. That makes me so so sad! These girls, this pledge class needs to be given a chance. Yes in the past phi mu has had more mean girls than other chapters BUT that doesn’t mean there are not lots of awesome, sweet girls ready to welcome their new pledge class with open arms! I wish them the best :)
