There was so many amazing girls we wanted to keep as many as possible!!! Quality over quantity we love all 167 of them!

It has to do strictly with chapter sizes to try to keep them as equal as possible. Zeta’s pledge class this year makes them the single largest chapter of any sorority in the country. I hear Pi Phi had 5 seniors who graduated early this past year so could take 5 more

That is cool for both zeta and pi phi! I heard they both got awesome pledge classes! Happy for the new pnm’s :)

Quota is the same for every house but there are Quota Additions also. Quota Additions assure that every PNM who ranks both her houses will get a bid even when it puts a house over Quota. After the bid matching process and houses reach Quota, anybody left over who didn't match is placed in one of her pref houses even when it puts a house over Quota. Factors that decide where she will go include her ranking of the houses, her place on their bid lists, and relative chapter sizes. That's why PNM's are told not to SIP (suicide) because if you only rank one of your two houses and you do not match with them in the bid matching process, you are then ineligible to be placed as a Quota Addition and will not get a bid. PNM's with only one pref house are guaranteed that bid if they put in on their card.

If that’s the right number that makes me sad for them that girls didn’t go give them a chance. They’re a really solid house, especially for being as new as they are.

I know with 100% certainty that DG intentionally opted for a smaller new member class because they chose to be more selective this year. And if you look at their new member class you can see that they definitely were! I think this will pay off for them big time.

I thought pi phi always took pride in taking under quota? That seems like a high number to me
