2021-2022 costs posted
by: fyiThe costs for the new school year have been posted on the Greek life site. Haven't had a chance to compare from last year, so if you have time, please post the differences here.

Difference for first year from most expensive house to least is $189 a month (based on 9 months) (so less difference from houses closer in cost)
In the grand scheme of things of what you are already paying it’s not that much. Yes, of course I understand for some it’s a lot, but you are going to even have more costs then these posted ones (T-shirts etc), so if these costs are stressing you out you probably need to rethink if rushing is for you.
Joining any extracurricular should never cause you financial strain & the stress that brings. Joining should be fun, not cause you to be worried how you’re going to pay for it.

Lots of sororities leave off stuff in their financial transparency when doing that list. I’m in Pi Phi and our dues are the “lowest” but in reality, they will charge us for a bunch of little things throughout the year that are mandatory.
My best friend is an axo, and what you see right there is everything included. She doesn’t pay any extra.
Being in a sorority is expensive. You will pay the same amount at just about any house.

Hey everyone, I’m going to explain a little something. First, it’s HQ that makes dues higher, second, we are the most transparent sorority when it comes to money. EVERYTHING is included and very very rarely do you have to purchase anything on your own unless you choose to.
We are all very similar in price, we just included everything so that no one is shocked by a random 2000 dollar fine at the end of the year for a meal plan they didn’t know they were paying for like other sororities.

That extra money is a lot to some people and their families. It’s something for them to consider. They really don’t need someone judging them and telling them not to join if cost is a consideration.
