Competing houses?

Saw this on another post….
Kappa/chi o - they only compete IF you are a girl from Arkansas with close friends in both houses
Zeta/pi phi - for real way different vibes ( you will see that during recruitment) and rarely go after the same girls
Tri delt / adpi / KD - the
Mid three do compete if top four is not an option for you but Tri delt usually gets ranked ahead of the other two
Phi Mu - have a type. They often are the second choice on pref along with a top house. If you have connections you may get the top but if you open your bid card and it says phi mu you will still be happy!!! I dare any girl to say this is not accurate!
Axo/aopi/dg- all very good houses. I will say aopi has really pulled in some great pledge classes the past couple of years!

Please listen to “Stop” and go in with an open mind. If you don’t have connections in Kappa,ChiO or Pi Phi you won’t be on their list. Give the other houses your best and give them a chance!!

The original post is a VERY accurate post!!!! I think the mid three are app equal so stop trying to cut adpi down. How are they different than Tri delt girls?? Zeta and pi phi do have different vibes as does chi o and kappa in my opinion. KD and pi phi super similar as is adpi and Tri delt and I mean that in a good way.

I think pi phi and Tri delt and KD are similar . They all three have smart girls that are a little granola and quirky

I wouldn’t say this is correct, at all. The top houses aren’t competing against each other - they’ve already lined up their legacies/connections long before day one.
I would say from Tri Delt to DG are all going for the same girls. PNMs will have all different combinations of these 7 houses by pref round. Honestly, these are the houses pnms should be focused on. I mean, if you don’t already know you’re most likely going to be a Kappa or Chi O - then you’re not going to be.

Just stop trying to make PNMs think that getting into kappa, chi o or pi phi is a legit reality if they don’t already know they’re “in.”
Those girls receiving a bid on August 21 from those 3 already know. They just have to go through the motions of rush.
Just stop. I was a PNM once who believed the hype that ALL of the houses were possible, only to get there, go through rush and realize how unfair it is for the vast majority of girls going through.
Have a 4.0? Pretty? Not a rep risk? But desire a “top” sorority?? Aim for DDD with KD a close second. ZTA if you’re into being social and partying.
