Advice for PNMs

PNMs…please ignore these ranks. Go with your gut. In all honesty, most of you won’t fit in with Kappa or Chi O. They come from different type of families. Think The Pioneer Woman…if you don’t have tons of money, you won’t fit in and be happy. I hope that makes sense. So if you get the option of a top house and a “lower” house…I hope you remember this post.
My experience is this…I had an upper (not considered the top) one and AXO left on pref night. I wanted AXO…there’s something about them that seems legit genuine, but I got caught in the ranks.
Don’t get me wrong, I am happy with my house, but I often wish I could have chosen both. It was a HARD decision, and my decision was based off these ranks. If this site didn’t exist, I would be an AXO.

while i think this is such an important message, don’t let your families monetary status make you choose a certain house. go with the girls that you like! i’m in a top house and pay for all of my college expenses (sorority dues, tuition, housing, etc.) and while i do have some sorority sisters who are well off, I wouldn’t say that I fit in any less! pick the house who loves you for YOU and you’ll be so happy no matter where you’re from :)
