Don’t overthink it. :) Just start by introducing yourself, let them know you’ll be rushing, and ask them about their house, the process, etc. Let the conversation flow from there. :)

You should! Especially if y’all have something in common like y’all are from the same city or she lives in the dorm you will be living in next year!!! Reach out to current freshman bc they are most involved in recruitment

Here’s my best tea. I was on our recruitment team this past year. It was extremely important last year to have the opportunity to talk to pnms over the summer with virtual recruitment. We don’t know for sure how things will be this year (I’m cautiously optimistic) but it’s best to cover your bases.

Each house will post their recruitment team on Insta if they haven’t already. Check out their pages and find common ground. If you’re from Kansas and a few of the team are as well, start there. Preferably don’t reach out to the recruitment chair since she has enough on her plate.

Reach out to every house, not just the ones you think you’re interested in. You might bond with someone you wouldn’t have otherwise. Plus let’s be honest, you might get cut from your favorites day one. Make those contacts with every house.

I enjoyed all the girls that dm’ed me last year. It put them on my radar, then our team’s radar, then the chapter’s.

Don’t be nervous about it. We were in your shoes before and completely understand where you’re coming from. 🤍
