pi phi & zeta

Both ZTA and Pi Phi are amazing sororities...and, hard to get into.
I went ZTA and Pi Phi on pref night...loved them both! Pledged ZTA...loving every minute of it!! ;) So many great houses at U of A...good luck to you!!

i had both on pref and also went zeta! BUT i have so much love for pi phi. i was so torn between the two that it came down to the fact that the pi phi house was further away! if you rush zeta or pi phi, i guarantee that you will have a great experience. to the pi phis on here: much zeta love to you all!!!

Loving all the zeta and pi phi love!!!! I had zeta and pi phi on pref night and went pi phi! They both are wonderful houses! Zetas are much more peppy and pi Phis are more down to earth! It's whatever your preference is! My favorite thing about zeta was definitely their philanthropy but always go with what you feel most comfortable in and not let someone change your mind!

from these comments, its clear that both houses are amazing. if you want to be in a sorority that is involved and peppy, go zeta. if you want a more earthy and laid back house, go pi phi! so much love for both houses and especially loving the kind words they have towards each other. thats a very rare thing to find!

I'm in neither sorority but I thought it would help to have someone else's opinion. BOTH ARE GREAT SORORITIES, just different

Zeta-it's like a sorority full of cheerleaders. They're involved with their philanthropy that it sometimes gets annoying. They're HUGE on self image.They love gossip. Not saying all, but some are major alcoholics. If they don't get what they want, they throw a fit. They're pretty but also very materialistic. They're not really focused on grades that much. For example, during homecoming, my zeta friend told me that the president told them "homecoming first, school second"

Pi Phi-They have the highest GPA on campus 4 semesters in a row. Very mellow and laid back. Known as the pot smokers (pi beta high). They used to not be involved really, but now they're super involved and winning in a lot of categories. Lots of my friends are Pi Phis and they're some of the nicest girls I know. Very real and not materialistic at all. From looking at my sorority and others, they aren't very strict which is pretty nice because it does get hectic at times and they won't freak out if you miss a couple of hours of community service because of school or something very important.

Agree with the comments here for the most part. Pi Phi has an edge overall though.

i agree with everything said. zeta is definitely the stereotypical peppy and involved sorority while pi phi is more laid back with an edge

All of the girls I know in pi phi are great, laid back girls! I am impressed by all the positivity on this post, and wanted to keep it going! Zetas are great too, very sweet and beautiful girls. These are two top houses here, but are very differnt from what I can tell. Zeta loves to be involved and I always see them doing philanthropy work on campus. Pi phi has a great gpa and seem very down to earth. Lots of beautiful sorority girls in these houses.

Both are great! I chose zeta because of how involved the girls are. I have many friends in Pi Phi though:) I am not at all materialistic, just like many girls in Zeta. Perhaps some give off that impression because some of our girls are really into fashion and makeup. You can't go wrong with either!

Zeta's are crazier, Pi Phi's are more chill.
