How can two be equal if the GPAs aren’t the exact same? That’s a disgrace to the ones with the better GPA to be grouped with another one that has lower grades.
I know it’s a shock to some, but there are girls who are trying to decide between two sororities, and grades are the deal breaker.

For real that is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. First of all the gpa difference is very small. Second there are many reasons to prefer one house over the other and out of all the reasons I am pretty sure gpa is the last. I am in a mid house and have several zeta friends. Sure cute and sweet. I don’t ever even see pi phi’s??? So is pi phi a great house? Yes! Is zeta equally great? Yes! Different vibes so girls should just see who they click with IF even given a choice. With no connections difficult for both houses.

I disagree. GPA was one of the top things I looked for in which sorority I wanted. How is that so hard for some (assuming Kappas after reading the first comment) to think girls could care less about “top tiered” house over grades?
I’d much rather be known for being super smart than super rich and only got into my sorority because my old high school friends got me in.
Is it possible that Pi Phi is viewed as “non existent” on campus because they are actually busting it to get all those 4.0s to have the top GPA?

Yes I think pi phi’s are more focused on grades than partying. Zetas are everywhere all.the.time. Could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your point of view. Frats do like them because they show up and guys like girls that show up to party with them. So IF given a choice between pi phi’s or zeta than decide what is most important to YOU. This whole thread is annoying to me though. They are equal and who actually cares.

My two cents ...
Zeta > pi phi. I am in lower tiered house. I have always found zetas to be friendly and inclusive of everyone no matter what house. Never met a pi phi that would give me the time of day. Pi phi’s are respected on campus though and any girl honestly will feel honored to be in either house. I just love the fact that zetas hang out with everyone from the top top to the bottom. They seem secure enough with themselves to do that which I appreciate.

I would hate for someone to look at this & think they can’t have a great experience/friendships etc in aopi, phi mu, and dg for example. You can and hundreds of girls do. They are great houses.
The biggest battle in rankings here is from insecure people trying to keep their fragile egos in check.

@sort of ... that’s one of the dumbest things I’ve read here. First, you act like a pnm is really choosing a house based off of gpa. They’re not. Second, the houses all have different things to offer which makes them great. It’s not all about grades. One house may excel in grades but be non existent in everything else while another is active, visible on campus, and standing out. If gpa was most important, Kappa wouldn’t be our top house and you don’t see anyone arguing that.
